The final benefit of hot tubs listed by BISHTA is that they bring enjoyment and relaxation.

Why is this the greatest benefit of all?

In some respects, this benefit is the greatest of all. After all, how many products help you to relax within minutes, and on demand? What else brings enjoyment any time of day or night, at any time of the year? What else promotes quality time, eases away aches and pains, and provides hours of fun for family and friends?

We sometimes underestimate the importance of enjoyment, of getting away from life’s stresses and strains. However, those people who do take time to relax, often find they are more focused in the rest of their lives, and can achieve more in less time.

“Relaxation is also nature’s way of fighting illness.”

A CNN news article in November 2011 called “Secrets of Women who Don’t Get Sick” revealed that spending time outdoors in winter and relaxing were great ways to fight off flu and colds. When we are happy, we experience less illness, and are less prone to debilitating illness.

Just as there is a stress response, so there also is what might be called a relaxation response. When in this state, our breathing improves, our system slows down, and we experience a flood of pleasurable endorphins, nature’s way of making us happy.

How do you relax?

Whilst some people relax by getting away from others, some prefer to be involved with others socially. A hot tub meets both of these needs. If you want to go solo, then crack open the cover and chill out. If you feel like having company, invite your loved ones for some truly special bubbly time together!

With so many benefits associated with hot tubs, getting a good quality model in your garden could be one of the best decisions you ever made.
